Indeed, we offer wigs that are ready for immediate dispatch. These can be found on our Collection page, marked as "Ready to Ship." Known also as POP UP PIXIE, they are available solely in the displayed color and head size. For recreations of a sold wig, please reach out for inquiries.

Do you have a store where I can come to see and/or try on your wigs?

 

Our company operates online, and all of our wigs are made to order. Consequently, we do not have a physical store where you can try on our products.​

Can HAUTE PIXIE make a wig or topper for me using my own hair?

 

Certainly, we can craft a wig using your provided weft extensions. The hair should be 100% human hair and styled to be above shoulder length. The cost will be calculated based on labor, color, precision cutting, and styling details. Please adhere to the 'Create A Wig' steps for detailed ordering instructions.

Are your wigs permanently curled as shown in the photographs?

Permanently curled wigs come in various styles: Wavy, Curly, and Extra Curly. Wigs labeled as straight hair are temporarily curled, as depicted in the photograph, and will need extra styling maintenance as necessary. Heating tools can be safely used on these wigs up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

How long does it take to receive an order?

 

Orders from the HAUTE PIXIE Collections are dispatched within 7 to 14 business days following the placement of the order, excluding weekends and holidays. For orders with multiple items, the dispatch time may extend from 7 to 21 business days. Orders for Ready to Ship units placed before 5pm EST on a business day is shipped within 24 hours, while Full Lace Units are dispatched within 14 to 21 business days.

Can I request a rush order?

 

Certainly! Rush orders are available for shipping within 5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Please note, there is an additional charge of $50 for this service ($100 for Full Lace Units).

Do you accept installment payments?

 

Indeed, we do! We've introduced the Pay In 4 options with PayPal and Affirm, allowing installment payment plans. Once approved by PayPal or Affirm, you can purchase a wig or topper immediately and pay for it over time.

How do I know if my wig will fit if I do not try it on first?

 

To ensure your wig fits perfectly, we offer customized head measurements. Please refer to our Head Measurement Chart for the steps. Remember to submit your measurements with your order.​

I've never worn a wig before, how do I put it on?

 

1. Gently shake the wig.

2. Determine which is the front and which is the back of the wig; the label should be at the back.

3. Lay the wig on a flat surface, looking into its interior.

4. Hold the wig by the sides or ear tabs, then slip it over the head from the hairline to the neck, making sure the front aligns with the hairline.

5. Ensure the wig feels secure. Adjust the hooks in the provided slits if necessary.

I have a picture of a style that I would like to have made into a wig. How do I send you the picture? 

 

There are two methods for submitting your picture to have a custom wig created: you can either scan and email the picture, or send it by mail to HAUTE PIXIE at 16501 Shady Grove Road #7484, Maryland 20898. I love a certain wig in your collection, how can I custom color it?

It's crucial to acquire at least one wig prior to the onset of hair loss. Being prepared can ease anxiety and restore a sense of control. Owning two wigs can extend their lifespan, particularly if they are not worn daily. Additionally, having a second wig can streamline your routine when the other requires maintenance.

Do you make Synthetic wigs?

 

No, we do not produce synthetic wigs. Our aim is to ensure our wigs appear as natural as possible; hence, we exclusively use 100% Virgin or Remy Human Hair, sourced from diverse origins worldwide. Please refer to the 'Types Of Hair' section for more information.

How do I take care of my wig?

​

• When not in use, store your wig on a stand to preserve its shape and cover it to protect against dust.

• Use products specifically designed for wigs to prevent excessive buildup.

• When using heat styling tools (flat iron, Marcel iron, or blow dryer), the recommended temperature setting is up to 400 degrees. Always test the iron on a piece of paper first; if the paper discolors, reduce the heat.

• To style the wig, use a wide-tooth comb. For curly styles, shape the curls with your fingers.

• Clean the wig as necessary.

Can I use regular hair products on my wig?

 

While all of our wigs are made from 100% human hair, we recommend using products specifically formulated for wigs to prevent heavy buildup, which could necessitate more frequent cleaning than necessary.​

Can I sleep in my wig?

 

It is not advisable to sleep in your wig, as the friction against the pillow can quickly cause the wig to lose its style and significantly shorten its lifespan. If it is necessary to sleep in your wig, wearing a soft bonnet over it is recommended.

Can I color and cut the hair on my wig?

If you wish to cut and color your wig, it's best to bring it to a professional experienced in wig maintenance services.

 

What type of styling tools can I use on my wig?

​

• Use a styling comb with wide teeth and spacing to gently comb through the unit, softening its appearance each time it's worn.

• Opt for brushes with single teeth at the base and flexible bristles that bend as they glide through the hair.

• Employ heating tools like a Marcel or flat iron with adjustable temperature settings. Before using, test the heat on a paper strip. If the paper browns, reduce the heat and test again. Proceed with the heating tool only when the paper does not change to a brown color.

How Can I Wash My Own Wig?

 

1. Carefully brush the wig with a wig brush.

2. Mix one tablespoon of wig shampoo into a sink of cold water.

3. Submerge the wig for one minute and gently shake. Avoid rubbing.

4. Rinse the wig in cold, clear water until fully clean.

5. Pat the wig dry with a towel. Do not twist or wring.

6. Lightly spray conditioning spray over the wig from a distance of 10-12 inches. After 5 minutes, rinse with cool water.

7. Place the wig on a stand to air dry.

8. Once completely dry, style the wig as you wish.
